This wave is also known as Bangko-Bangko, it has established itself as a top surfing point. This Left - Hander has a fast inside section, with a shifty take-off area, it barrels and walls along the reef, a long ride…. Best on Mid-tides.

Nusa Lembongan

The ideal add-on to Bali. Within of hours of leaving the Bali mainland, you will be in another world on the Island Paradise of Nusa Lembongan with friendly locals and a fantastic array of surf on your door-step. To the north-east lie the popular surfing breaks Playgrounds, Shipwrecks and Lacerations that skirt the seaweed farms in front of Jungut Batu village. Directly below stretches an underwater coral garden, far behind on the horizon towers Bali’s sacred volcano Mount Agung. The clear sheltered bay is a safe haven for outrigger canoes. Lounge on the deck of “Bulan Purnama” or get out there and get into the surf action.

As mentioned, there are 5 main breaks in Nusa Lembongan:

1. Shipwrecks – a fun, workable right that breaks on the mid to high tide.
2. Razors – a rarely makeable, left barrel, that on it’s day is a long full suck turbo tube.
3. Lacerations – A high speed, hollow right barrel.
4. Playgrounds – a mellow left and right peak that provides a wave when the swell is small and the tide is low.
5. Cheningan’s – a rarely surfed left off the temple on Nusa Ceningan that is surfed when the swell is small and the winds light.
